Adele Andrews
Green New Deal Research Assistant

Adele Andrews is currently working for the Global Center for Climate Justice on a variety of projects including building the Green New Deal Cities Resource Hub. They are active in the environmental justice movement and began working on local Green New Deals through involvement in local Boston-area Sunrise Movement chapters. Adele is from Glocester, Rhode Island and was exposed to environmentalism growing up through the issues facing the rural area. Their research interests include the role of social identity in environmentalism and the adoption of clean energy and energy efficiency technology in low income communities and communities of color. Adele has previously worked as a fellow at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center on the Mass Solar Loan program, which provides low rate loans for solar PV to MA residents and monetary assistance to low income customers.
